Julio Cesar met with applause by Brazilian side

Brazil's starting goalkeeper Julio Cesar was met by applause from teammates upon arriving at the national side's training facility.

The ovation was for winning a Champions League title with Inter Milan _ and for his efforts to reunite with Brazil teammates three days after the final against Bayern Munich.

After the Champions League title, Cesar said Tuesday it is time to "close out the party" with a World Cup win for Brazil.

The team is seeking its sixth world title.

Brazil opens play June 15 against North Korea and then faces Ivory Coast and Portugal in the group stage.

The two other Brazil squad members who play for Inter _ Maicon and Lucio _ opted to meet the team in South Africa later this week.
